Puzzle

These are great. I don't know what I would do with it in real life though. I don't have the fine motor skills to make an actual puzzle. That might be rather humorus...

More Flickr #5

Well I just deleted an entire page of posting. Hmmm... bummer is the word we used to use. Great tools on the thing 5 section. I could get stuck for hours exploring all of the available links. I made a calendar/ wallpaper with one of my Flickr pictures.

I really like that tool! It's a good thing the deadline for the 23 things is April 16th. I will really need to be outside by then!

Wow this is neat! I have loaded pictures to Flickr. Now I need to learn to use the Mashups so I can share some neat shots with friends and family. Then on to bigger projects... like our Library!

It's supposed to be nice out today. 18 degrees here now and rising. I can't wait till the snow is off the garden and I can get at the soil again.
Well now I'm addicted! I used to be on several mailing lists but found keeping up with all the emails very tough. Now I can get rid of the lists and save the email program for the more important business related emails. I still have a few details to work out about getting some of my favorites to come to me instead of me going to them.

Thing 2 L2

Library 2.0 and our future with it is as real as any of Ray Bradbury's futuristic books. The only difference is that we have an opportunity to help shape it for our local needs. I work as a "Signature Librarian" meaning that I show up with enough time to review and sign a few purchase orders, then go back to my other district job. I fear that our future as a K-12 rural Library is going to be on the outside watching if we don't use some "futuristic" outside the box ways to beat the rest of the world to Library 2.0.

Thing 1

Man I guess I am lucky that I got to the registration part before it was closed! My co-worker has advanced through many phases of things and I am excited to continue with thing one. I was a bit confused about the whole Avatar business. I guess I need to do some reviewing so I can show everyone my Avatar and learn the true uses of Avatars.
